Precious Moments Wedding Photography

I’ve finally uploaded some album pages to the gallery section. The images there are from one of last years custom designed albums. Creating these albums is something I absolutely love, creating such a stunning record of the day. Every one is different as I don’t work from boring templates. I start each one from scratch aiming to create something truly unique. The images online don’t do this stunning 14″ by 14″ album justice, If you want to get a real idea then pop down to the studio and take a look at them in person.

One of the things I am doing more and more of (and it may be a sign of the times) is special bespoke packages for people. These range from specific product requirements, short weddings or budget.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say that Wedding Photography consists of 3 fundamental ingredients:

1) The Style the photographer brings

2) The products you end up with

3) The price you pay

However, only one of these is really important….”The Style your photographer brings” Why I say this is the only important one is because products and price change, they are not fixed. Fine a photographers whos style, personality, character and photos you enjoy and appreciate, find someone you can get on with and trust. Once you’ve done that, then you can chat about products and prices. I try and give a fantastic range and depth of products and I’m particularly passionate about my custom designed albums but for me it is all about the photographs and more importantly working with the happy couple of the most special of days.

So find a style, an approach and a photographer you like and then talk to them about what can be done. I am very up front about my prices and packages but the packages are often (more now than ever) just a starting place. So if you like what you’ve seen on my website, you like my approach and idea but that my packages don’t meet exactly what you want then just get in touch, pop down to the studio, drop me an e-mail or give me a call.

The time, skill & style that goes into taking your photos is what you are paying for, what you end up with as a record can adapt, change and more importantly be decided upon well after the wedding.

You can always have more, photos, frames or albums. you can NEVER go back and get more photos taken!

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I updated the site, there really is no excuse, infact being that the last 6 months is typically the lean time for weddings the site should have been jam packed with news and exciting development, there have certainly been lots they just haven’t made it onto these pages.

I have been hearing from a lot of wedding photographers I know saying that they think wedding photography is in trouble and that booking are down in these times of recession (or post-recession if we are definitely out of it) This seems to be a pretty national trend but not as bas as some would make out.

I’d like to take the time to thank all the future brides & grooms I’ve seen recently, when you can have a laugh and a joke and a good time with people over the phone or sitting having a chat in the studio it definitely points to some fantastic weddings to come.

I’m really excited no, not only for all the upcoming weddings (group shots on Portsmouth’s Guildhall steps in a couple of weeks! fantastic!) I’m even more excited about some of the changes that will be taking place here at Precious Moments after this years main wedding season. I’d love to blurt it all out now but I need to save it for now and ry and hold it all in. What I will say is that the scope, style and products that I offer are about to become even more exciting and most importantly for me they will truly stand out from the other wedding photographers that are about!

Anyone that’s met me in conjunction with a wedding will know the passion and excitement and pride I take in my wedding photography and I think whats to come will really sum this up!

A fantastic wedding and a great couple. My very first Brazilian wedding was a blast and a lot of fun, great mix of people all there for the happy couple and to enjoy there special day.

MyPartyPix is one of our special services available as an added extra to any wedding or event whether we are doing the wedding photography or not. We have changed the way it works for 2010 to make it even easier but still just as much fun involved on the night!!
